What We Did
Helen Piteo Interiors was contracted to lend their design expertise to The View, a luxury condominium complex located in Beacon, NY. As the name implies, the entire complex overlooks the gorgeous Hudson River that residents and visitors know and love. The central location gives residents proximity to Beacon’s energetic city life, as well as countryside activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and boating. The project spanned a lobby area, engaging gathering spaces, and two stunning model units for prospective residents. The goal was to create a space that captured both the essence of Hudson Valley life while incorporating a unique Manhattan Chic style.

Project Standouts
A dramatic ground-level lobby greets visitors when they first enter The View and makes a memorable impression.
Several gathering areas to encourage conversation and togetherness mirrors the sense of community Beacon is known for.
A model condominium targeted for the younger buyer, featuring more bold design choices and high contrast colors.
A second model condominium targeted towards more mature buyers, with a more reserved, softer style.
A doggy-wash for pet-loving residents after enjoying local outdoor activities.
An outdoor rooftop lounge with a scenic view overlooking the Hudson River.

Design & Furnishing Choices
To keep with the theme of industrial design, we incorporated a stained concrete floor in the ground-level lobby and black and gold metal materials throughout the project. Dynamic wall-coverings and oversized art add a significant amount of character and energy to the space, while mirrors make it feel open and airy. We used only commercial-grade furnishings and materials in the community spaces to ensure that they will be enjoyed for years to come.

Client’s Take
“I just wanted to thank you and your team of professionals. Besides being extremely passionate about their work, they were creative, knowledgeable about today’s trends, realistic about budgets and deadlines, and finally managed to work with all trades to deliver a great project… the rooftop lounge, fitness center, community area, and dog wash came out top-notch, but the units were central to the successful sales as the potential buyers could visualize the final product. Again, thanks for all your help!”
